Education & Experience
I graduated with my Master's In Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University in 2025. At that time I had completed over 700 hours of counseling hours with Family Services and Mind Matters Counseling. I have experience helping with marital conflict, anxiety, depression and grief for individuals, families and groups. I previously earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Brigham Young University. You might be surprised how many transferrable skills there were from the design field to counseling but I like to think that I work to make things beautiful both outside and in. I continue to work with Family Services, doing individual and group counseling while also doing private practice counseling and coaching.

Family & Spirituality
I'm the wife to a handsome helicopter pilot and have 7 amazing children. We have lived in Utah, Arizona, Texas and now call Alabama our home, and how sweet it is! I love to travel, read books, listen to podcasts, sew and socialize. As a family we love to watch movies, play games, sports and go camping, backpacking and any number of activities that involve our local springs, rivers and beaches. I'm a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and find that Christian principles play a large role in the way I apply counseling principles. I love the way spiritual concepts and psychological theories work in harmony together. From my own experience I can attest that relationships can be challenging in ways that I never expected or imagined but that those challenges create beautiful and unique opportunities for growth.
